The kitchen features a large quartz countertop island and counters with a marble backsplash. Martanne Construction raised the floor of the kitchen and dining room to make it flush with the living room floor. Martanne took out a brick wall from the dining space to give the home an open concept feeling. The kitchen includes a custom, hidden butler’s pantry, a floor to ceiling pantry, and wine and beverage fridge.
Each bathroom was refinished with marble and engineered hardwoods.
Martanne added three bedrooms and two bathrooms for the client, along with expanding the master bedroom.
A laundry room was added off of the front of the house.
Martanne centered the front door on the porch for a symmetrical, pleasing look. Martanne overlaid existing concrete with new brick on the front porch as well as adding a new driveway.
A custom window system was built to look onto the patio. The door slides into itself to save room.
This ‘floating’ brick deck is twenty feet in the air on the hillside behind the home. A custom cable rail system enables those on the deck to have a view of the trees. The brick is laid in a custom herringbone pattern.
